This is a mixed kind of photomanipulation. I'm trying to practice digital painting. The girl is based on a reference pic from
 and it took me FOREVER to paint her, with my stupid mouse! The water and fish parts are a mix of painting and photomanipulation. I decided to stick into the photomanipulation category because it's not entirely painted. I'm getting there though, slowly but surely. This was a fun piece for me. An homage to one of the great goddesses of India. In the Vedic religion she was considered to be a mighty river. Later in Hinduism she became the consort of the creator, Brahma. PS 7 |
